Women Across Differences (WAD) is a non-governmental organization that enables women and girls to empower themselves through access to social and economical resources. We work across the dividing lines of age, ethnicity, class, politics and religion.
Our programmes reach economically depressed groups surrounding Georgetown and aim to improve the lives of Guyanese people by focusing on poverty reduction, gender-based issues, social cohesion, self-development and youth involvement.
WAD is a national network of women and women’s organizations committed to individual and social transformation in Guyana.
